Day 4: Victoria Falls (Zambia)
Today will be at leisure
Days 5 - 7: Linyanti Concessions
This morning you will be transferred by road and ferry to Kasane Airport. Here you will be met and assisted to a light aircraft for a scheduled transfer to Saile airstrip.
From Saile there will be a game drive transfer to Linyanti Bush Camp.
Please bear in mind that there is a strict luggage allowance of 20kgs per person in TOTAL, including camera equipment and that all stowed luggage must be in soft-sided bags in order to fit into the aircraft hold. Please refer to the attached document in this regard.
Most light aircraft transfers are in Cessna 210 or Cessna Caravans.
Your light aircraft transfers are all based on a seat-on-charter rate. i.e not a private charter, whcih means that you will be dropping off and collecting guests at other airstrips along the way.
Please note that during the heavy rains in summer, the airstrip was damaged and while it is under repair currently and will no doubt be completed by the time you are set to arrive, there is a slim chance that you may land at Savuti airstrip in which case there will be a three-hour road transfer to Linyanti Bush Camp.
Days 8 - 10: Savuti - Chobe National Park
Goha is in a fabulous location high on a ridge overlooking the Savuti plains and a waterhole that attracts a lot of game all day and often well into the night.
Mack Air will try to plan this (and all future departures) so that you have a chance to join a last game activity and have breakfast before departing. However, in order to maximise the use of the aircraft, the charter company cannot always guarantee that you will have a late morning departure.
The times of departure will always be advised the night before, usually as a note on your pillow!
If the airstrip is not operational, you will be transferred by way of a game drive directly to Goha.
Days 11 - 13: Okavango Delta
This morning you will be transferred by scheduled light aircraft to Kanana for a true delta experience. Kanana has deep waterways with motorised boating, shallow areas where mekoro trips are possible and as it is located on a private concession, guided walks are also an option in addition to the game drives. Kanana is a fabulous all-round camp!
Day 14: End of Itinerary
After breakfast this morning you will be transferred by scheduled charter flight back to Maun Airport to connect with your onward flight.
